The exhibition Good50x70 will be hosted in Milan from 15th to 31st October. Good50x70 is an international social design contest currently running in its fourth edition.
This project is devised by Pasquale Volpe in collaboration with Gabriella Morelli. It is organised by the Cultural Association Good Design with the support of public institutions, professional associations, and NGOs, and especially thanks to the effort of hundreds of creatives around the world who participated in the contest. Good Design works on new forms of social and responsible communication and critical thinking.
210 out of the 2357 posters sent by designers participating in the contest will be exhibited in Milan and in various other world locations.
This year’s themes were chosen with the NGOs taking part in this project and they are: the immigrants’ right to receive medical assistance (EMERGENCY), the importance of creating marine reserves for whales (GREENPEACE), the right of HIV-infected people to travel to all countries with no restrictions, soccer as an element to create strong bonds among the African population (AMREF), the need to protect wild tigers (WWF), fighting poverty by respecting human rights (AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL), and the exhortation to fight against all mafias (LIBERA).
